The Legionnaire Story

Legionnaire Army was launched as Legionnaire Apparel in 2007 by Joe Moxley and Mike Herrera. Moxley, formerly of Meddy Clothing, and Herrera, frontman of the punk band MxPx, met at a rock show and ultimately joined forces to create their own clothing line. "I was looking for something new, young and hip," said Moxley. "The new clothing lines I was encountering were a little junky. I thought, 'I could do better than this.'" And that's exactly what he did.

Moxley opened up shop in his garage and started hand-screening designs that he and Herrera created themselves. Their goal is to work together to offer quality, unique clothing at a reasonable price and to dress the masses, one piece at a time.

As the line took off and more of you became part of the Legionnaire family, Moxley and Herrera felt like they were building an army rather than just a business. Now they not only design clothing for the people they hope will join forces with them, but for the people who have become a loyal part of the Legionnaire Army.
